Blue and Gold Macaw

I painted this for one of the group projects at the WetCanvas! web forums. The project was a monthly animals/wildlife one, where a photo reference is provided and everyone works in whatever medium they wish. Being quite fond of birds (especially parrots) myself, I couldn't pass this lovely fellow up.
